CNN reports that effective July 1, South Korea will allow certain foreign arrivals to skip quarantine. The qualifying persons must be fully vaccinated with a WHO-approved vaccine and their purpose of visit must be “citizens and foreign residents, those coming to visit family, or for the purpose of business, academics or public interest,” according to a quoted official. A negative COVID-19 test is still required, and source destinations with recent or ongoing outbreaks may be prohibited.
