TTG Asia reports that amidst a fourth outbreak of COVID-19, the Japanese government has banned all spectators from events at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, which are set to begin at the end of July. The decision is also accompanied by restrictions against serving alcohol in restaurants from July 12th to August 22 in the capital city. Olympic events outside of Tokyo in Fukushima, Miyagi, and Shizuoka will be permitted to have up to 50 percent of capacity and up to 10,000 people in their stadiums.
