How to optimize your setting  

Property level

Please make sure that “Allow infants in the property” and “Allow children in the property” is enabled!

Step 1. Go to YCS

Step 2. Go to the Property tab

Step 3. Click on the Property Settings

Step 4. Select Property age policy page

Step 5. Enable Allow infants in the property and Allow children in the property

Step 6. Click on Save

Room Level

Please make sure “Allow children in this room” is enabled and the number of children allowed for free is set more than one (1).

Step 1. Go to YCS

Step 2. In the Property tab, select Room Setup page

Step 3. Select your desired room type

Step 4. Go to Room occupancy tab

Step 5. Select Yes to Allow children in this room field

Step 6. Define Number of children allowed for free

Step 7. Click on Save

• Why did you receive this email?

We noticed that your settings on YCS are inconsistent. Based on your Property Settings, you allow children to stay for free on existing bedding. However, for one or more of your rooms (which allow children) the number of children allowed to stay for free on existing bedding is zero (0).

• How can we help?

To increase your chances of securing valuable family bookings, we can increase the number of children who can stay for free on existing bedding from zero (0) to one (1) on 18th January 2021.

Before optimization 

The number of children allowed for free set as zero (0).

After optimization 

The number of children allowed for free will be optimized to one (1).

How to revise the property’s age & bedding policy? 

You may revise the settings by log in to YCS > Property> Property Settings. For further details on set up, you may visit articles “How do I setup an age policy?“.

If I want to adjust children’s information in this room type, what should I do?   

You may revise the settings by log in to YCS  > Property>Room Setup > Select your desired room type > Room Occupancy. For further details on set up, you may visit the article “MaxAllowedFreeChildren (MAFC) YCS Setting”

Will this free child get breakfast?  

Yes, the free child will get breakfast for free if you selected ‘Breakfast’ as a benefit in the rate plan. Please note that the free kids should receive the same benefit provided in that room types if the selected benefit on YCS does not specific for adults or number of people.
