Reuters reports that the 18-month ban on Australians traveling abroad will finally come to an end in November. However, conditions will apply to citizens and residents returning from abroad, including home quarantine. The first phase will apply to Australians being allowed to travel abroad, while the second phase will allow foreign visitors. Starting November 1, Australians who are fully vaccinated will be able to travel abroad and complete a 7-day quarantine at home on their return while unvaccinated Australians will required14 days of quarantine at a hotel when they return. Qantas airlines has also announced the start of international flights on November 14th.
