Marketwatch reports that 2nd quarter numbers are looking very good for two major US-based accommodation chains. Wyndham Hotels had adjusted diluted earnings of 95 cents a share, up from $.10 in the same period last year. Net revenues were $406 million, compared with$258 million a year earlier during the height of the pandemic. Hilton Worldwide Holdings reported adjusted earnings of $.56 per share, compared with a loss of 61 cents a year earlier, with total revenue of $1.3 billion. Hilton also reported improvements in business travel and group bookings.
