What is the YCS Property settings page?
Property settings is a page in YCS (Property >> Property settings) where you can input valuable information and logistical details about your property. This information will be provided to guests at various points in the booking process. It is important to accurately configure these settings to reduce misunderstandings with guests. Accurate property settings can also help to optimize revenue management by enabling certain automations, selecting a payment method, or connecting with channel managers.

Property age policy
Minimum guest age allowed at property | Set the minimum age for guests across your entire property – different policies for specific rooms can be created in Room setup |
Allow infants in the property | Set the age for an infant to be between 0 and 5 years old, depending on the minimum age allowed at the property |
Allow children in the property | Set the ages for a child to be between 1 and 21 years old, depending on the infant age settings and the minimum age allowed at the property |
Default number of children allowed in each room | This limits how many children can stay for free in a room at your property – you can override this setting for each room type in Room setup |
Occupancy control | This determines how maximum room occupancy is calculated |
