TTG reports that starting next month vaccinated tourists can come to Malaysia without quarantine. One RT-PCR test is still needed two days prior to arrival, and one RTK antigen is to be taken test within 24 hours after arrival in Malaysia. Requirements for unvaccinated tourists is expected to be announced very soon. KL Tan, president, Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), is quoted as saying “We can finally start rebuilding the tourism sector and contribute to the country’s economic recovery. With a firm date, the industry can now begin its marketing and promotion activities.”
