Keeping your contact information up to date is key to ensuring smooth communication. You can manage your contact information in YCS, depending on your property type. Learn more about property types here.
Managing contact information for hotel-type properties and multi-unit homes
Creating a new contact
- Sign in to YCS. If you manage multiple properties, select it from Listings.
- Go to Settings >> Contacts.
- Click Create new contact.
- Enter the contact’s general information and contact details.
- Under Responsibilities, click Edit and select the topics the contact handles.
- Click Create.
Editing or deleting a contact
- Sign in to YCS. If you manage multiple properties, select it from Listings.
- Go to Settings >> Contacts.
- Select the contact you want to update.
- To edit the contact details, click Edit and then Save. To remove the contact from your list, click Delete.
Managing contact subscriptions
The responsibilities selected in the Responsibilities section indicate the topics the contact manages (e.g., reservations, general questions, authorized signatory). These selections determine the default subscriptions in the Subscriptions tab. You can manage the selected Subscriptions at any time.
- Sign in to YCS. If you manage multiple properties, select it from Listings.
- Go to Settings >> Contacts.
- Select the contact you want to manage, then click the Subscriptions tab.
- Tick the box for each email you want to subscribe to. Your selection will be saved automatically.

General Information | Job Role | This is the contact’s job role. The user can select the job role from the predefined list using the drop-down box. |
Prefix | This is the contact’s name prefix. The user can select the prefix from the predefined list using the drop-down box. | |
Name | This field is for the contact’s name. | |
Surname | This field is for the contact’s surname. | |
Contact Detail | Primary Email | This field is for the contact’s main email. |
This field is for the contact’s additional email. | ||
Primary Phone | This field is for the contact’s primary phone number. | |
Fax | This field is for the contact’s fax number. | |
Phone | This field is for the contact’s additional phone number or mobile number. | |
Responsibilities | Responsibilities | This field shows the list of the contact’s responsibilities. |

Notification | Notification Type | This field shows the type of notifications that the user can select from. |
Subscription Type | This field allows the user to subscribe to specific notifications. |
