Digital travel platform Agoda announces a raft of new support measures and dedicated services in Australia.

It follows an Agoda survey of some 7,000 Australian hotel owners sharing their experiences with the digital travel platform. Agoda has responded by launching a 24/7 partner response team, improving content shared with hotel partners about reservations and a series of initiatives to help attract domestic travelers into partners’ properties.

“Australian hoteliers told us clearly they wanted two things – localised support from Agoda and innovation to capture the latent desire for travel, so for the first time globally, we have launched 24/7 access to our partner services helpdesk, ensuring our service better reflects the nature of how hoteliers do business,” explained Zsuzsanna Janos, Agoda’s Director of Oceania.

“This additional service enhancement will complement the work conducted by our existing Market Managers by providing round the clock support for payments, reservations, room allotment issues, or content issues that we can address almost immediately.”

Agoda’s 24/7 support and Partner Hub have been refined to host self-serve tools that give partners knowledge and insight to improve conversion and boost growth. The platform allows partners to implement marketing strategies by managing rates, availability and hotel content and creating promotions and performance reports.

In addition to the 24/7 partner support and Market Managers, Agoda also has YCS self-service portal for content, partners can manage their room allotment, accessible, value-added and extensive online business intelligence. All the things that come together to drive our partners’ brand awareness, and revenue” Janos continues.

Agoda’s Partner Hub platform also provides industry news, latest travel trends and insights that help partners make more profitable decisions, with opportunities to learn from industry experts and connect-in with upcoming industry events and webinars.

While predominantly known as the gateway to Asia bringing in travelers from across APAC to hotels and accommodation partners here in Australia, as well as helping Australians travel easily across Asia and beyond, Agoda also has strong domestic partnerships in Australia. Covid has made the industry more reliant on domestic travellers, so Agoda developed and launched products like GoLocal, GoLocal Tonight and Agoda Special Offers to help Australian hoteliers pivot and attract these travellers with great deals, and value-add promotions.
