ABC News reports that Singapore will start allowing Australians who are vaccinated and have tested negative for COVID-19 to enter the island without quarantine starting on November 8th. Singapore has achieved 84% vaccination in its population, and despite a recent uptick in positive cases has stated an intention to live with the COVID-19 virus and normalize it as vaccination has proven that hospitalization rates are less than 1%. Australian arrivals will need to test again on arrival. Similar arrangements have been made with the USA and Germany, with more nations expected soon.
