Bloomberg reports that the United Arab Emirates will now allow visa applications for anyone who has received WHO-approved vaccinations against COVID-19. Effective August 30th, all bans on inbound travel from all nations will now be replaced by the new rules. The UAE, which includes Dubai and Abu Dhabi, has provided a health app through which those applying for vaccination exemption must first register their vaccination status before arrival. Unvaccinated persons will still be subjected to source restrictions and quarantine rules. All arriving passengers will still be required to take a PCR test on arrival, however.
