CNN reports that the island of Bali will allow international flights this month, according to announcements by Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Indonesia’s minister of maritime affairs and investment, who was also quoted as saying that “Every international arrival passenger must have proof of booking a hotel for quarantine for a minimum of eight days at their own expense.” However, there was no detailed information provided regarding the logistics of the plan or which accommodations would be certified for taking in quarantine travelers. Currently, the island is open only to residents and their families, and “urgent and skilled workers.”
