Tribune India reports that the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI) has asked the government via a letter to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to provide waivers and concessions to save the hotel industry from additional harm during the pandemic. The requests include a refund or adjustment on excise fees, a complete waiver on fixed power charges and property taxes, raising the limit on social gatherings from 20 persons to 25, and waivers on water and sewage charges.
