The Proactive Date Amendment Fee Waiver tool allows you to preselect your property’s policy on allowing date amendment (if any).
What is a Proactive Date Amendment Fee Waiver?
- A simple tool that you can use to preselect your property’s policy on allowing date amendment. You choose the circumstance under which you will allow date amendment (if any).
- Any qualified situation that falls within the circumstance selected under the Proactive Date Amendment Fee Waiver will automatically be allowed through our system.

How to Set Up?
Step 1. From the Property screen, click on Property Settings
Step 2. Select or scroll down to Optional Settings until you see Accept amendment fee waiver requests from our agents
Step 3. If the box is checked for Accept amendment fee waiver requests from our agents, you will see a drop-down menu under Auto date amendment fee waiver setting where you can preselect your property’s policy on allowing date amendment.
Step 4. The circumstances you can choose from include:
- Waive fee up to 24 hours before check-in date
- Waive fee up to 48 hours before check-in date
- Waive fee up to 72 hours before check-in date
- Waive fee up to 120 hours before check-in date
Step 5. By default, your property will opt into the following option:
- Waive fee up to 48 hours before check-in date
Step 6. You can opt out from the program by unchecking the box for Accept amendment fee waiver requests from our agents

Yes, you will receive an additional amount equal to the rate difference between the original and new dates.
How will I know when a booking is amended automatically by this tool?
You will receive the date amendment details by email each time there is a date amendment fee waiver. The email will resemble a standard booking amendment confirmation email and will include the Booking ID, new check-in and check-out dates, and booking value.
