What is a Top Host and how do I become one?

Top Hosts meet several criteria that establish them as reliable hosts who routinely provide a high-quality experience to their guests. Top Hosts receive more bookings, so it’s worth making the effort to get this status.

To become a Top Host, you must:

Be a verified host
Have 5 bookings where the guest has checked out
Have an average review score of 7.5 or above
Have a response rate over 70%
Have no more than two bad cancellations over a six month period.

Bad cancellations may affect your Top Host status. A bad cancellation is any cancellation made without notifying the guest. In order to preserve your Top Host status, you cannot have more than 2 bad cancellations in a 6 month period. This policy is designed to make sure guests have the best experience possible. If a bad cancellation is found to be a mistake on our end, the cancellation will not count against you and will not affect your Top Host status.
