What is Agoda Growth Express?
Agoda Growth Express (commonly referred to as AGX) is our most dynamic growth tool, through which you can create multiple campaigns to elevate your presence while maintaining full control. By participating in Agoda Growth Express, you gain targeting flexibility to focus on the travelers you want, during the period it is needed most. Many partner properties choose to strategically time their Agoda Growth Express campaigns, utilizing the provided smart estimates to help determine how much to budget for the boost your property is seeking.

Data represents average performance since 1 January 2024, with AGX activated for 30 days or more. Estimated growth is not guaranteed.
To join, you will set a budget for your Agoda Growth Express campaign and customize the parameters by which your targeting will be applied. This budget is paid as an incremental commission on top of your standard contracted commission and is referred to as “cost per booking”. As Agoda Growth Express is specifically targeted, you will only pay the cost per booking on the departed bookings generated from the campaign.
Agoda Growth Express will not accrue any hidden costs as the cost per booking is only charged for departed bookings. Regardless of your selected payment method, if a booking is cancelled, you will not be charged (if you select Credit payment method, the cost per booking will be refunded to you). Properties that prefer not to impact their average daily rate (ADR) may choose to pay in advance for pre-loaded credits, which are then applied as a payment method on the Agoda Growth Express campaign. To gain further benefits, we also offer one-click shortcuts for a maximum visibility boost. Choose to stack your Agoda Growth Express campaign with other campaigns that match a traveler’s search with overlapping criteria; or double your bid to attract last minute travelers who are booking within 7 days of their check-in date.
How can my property benefit from Agoda Growth Express?

Agoda Growth Express is designed to significantly enhance your property’s visibility on Agoda’s Search Results Page. By boosting your ranking, you can catch customers’ attention more effectively, leading to increased user engagement. This heightened visibility not only uplifts your property’s ranking but also drives higher conversion rates, ultimately contributing to your revenue growth.
How can I join Agoda Growth Express?
- Navigate to YCS >> Growth programs >> Agoda Growth Express.
- Set your Budget for the campaign by selecting an option from the provided percentage amounts, or by customizing your own budget. The selected percentage will be the incremental commission charged as the cost per booking.
Note that you can see a live estimate of your predicted impressions, room nights, and revenue boost on the right-hand side, which changes according to the settings you input on the form, including the different budget options. - Select the Targeting parameters, including Stay date, Traveler origin, Lead time, and Weekday/Weekend settings. All parameters will be set to “All” as default.
If you would like to edit these parameters, uncheck the tick box to see the customizable options:- Stay date:
Boost your ranking for specific check-in dates, with no minimum campaign period. Tip: use this parameter to boost your ranking for an upcoming long weekend!
Select your preferred dates from the calendar or use the tick box for All stay dates. - Traveler origin:
Target core markets or focus on selected customers using our IP targeting tool. Tip: use this parameter to target countries with upcoming holidays!
Select from International, Asia Inbound, Domestic, Select country, or use the tick box for All traveler origins. - Lead time:
Use lead time targeting to capture last-minute or high-value bookings. Tip: use this parameter to optimize inventory management by targeting long lead time searches!
Use the drop-down menu to set your lead time as Less than or More than, and the drop-down menu to set Days or Weeks. There is also an input field to customize your number of days/weeks (according to your selection). If you do not have a preferred Lead time, use the tick box to select All lead time. - Weekday/Weekend:
Increase bookings for weekday stay dates or maximize your weekend occupancy. Tip: use the weekday parameter to target business travelers who may extend their stay for the right price!
Select either Weekday (applied on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) or Weekend (applied on Fridays and Saturdays), or use the tick box for All days.

There are two payment methods offered: Payout reduction and Credits. Note that properties who need to maintain a set average daily rate (ADR) may choose to pay in advance for pre-loaded credits, which are then applied as a payment method on the Agoda Growth Express campaign.- Payout reduction
With the payout reduction payment method, the cost per booking will be deducted from the payable amount of each booking. When you confirm a booking amount for payout on YCS, your Agoda Growth Express cost per booking will be deducted automatically. Note that this only applies to bookings that meet the campaign criteria. - Credits
With the credits payment method, the cost per booking will be deducted from pre-loaded credits. Note that your credit balance will be shown here, along with an option to Top up your credits. Click the Top up button to purchase pre-paid credits via bank transfer, ePass deduction, or credit card. The purchased credits may take 2-10 days to be added to your balance, so you may need to return to the campaign setup later if you prefer using the credits option. If you select the credits payment method, your campaign will automatically stop once your credits run out. However, you can check the tick box to switch to the payout reduction payment method once your credits run out to ensure continuous marketing support.

- If you have a Promo code, enter the code in the text field and click Apply.
- As a final step, you are provided with an opportunity to select a One-click shortcut for maximum visibility boost. The two shortcuts offered are:
- Stack this campaign with other campaigns for maximum boost
- Double your bid and attract last minute travelers
Note that this option only appears if you select All for the Lead time parameter
- Check the tick box to agree to the terms and conditions, then click Review details to preview your selections before finalizing your campaign.
- Double check your Cost per booking, Targeting parameters, and Payment method. If you need to edit any of the selections, you can click Back in the top left corner. Otherwise, if the campaign details are all correct, click on the Create campaign button to complete your registration for Agoda Growth Express.
Where can I view Agoda Growth Express performance for my property?
To view the performance of your ongoing Agoda Growth Express campaign, navigate to: YCS >> Growth programs >> Campaigns. Then, click on the row that shows the AGX campaign for which you would like to view the performance data.
On your Agoda Growth Express performance dashboard, you will find the following information and data:
- Overview:

- Campaign name and campaign number, Cost per booking, and Payment method
- Targeting:

- Targeting shows the targeting parameters you selected during the campaign setup. Your property will be boosted to travelers who fit the displayed criteria.

- Coverage shows the estimated percentage of travelers that this AGX campaign will target as a comparison to the total number of travelers who booked in your city in the last 3 months. Note that you have the option to remove all targeting if you would like to edit this campaign instead of creating a new one.
- Performance:

- Boosted ranking shows the median ranking where your property was seen by targeted users on the Search Results page of Agoda platforms (website and app).

- Room nights shows the total booked room nights that met the campaign’s criteria.

- Revenue shows the total net revenue after commission from bookings that were generated by this specific campaign.

- Cost shows the total cost of bookings that met the campaign’s criteria.

- Impressions shows the number of times that a user saw your property in their Search Results page.

- Clicks shows the number of times users clicked on your property after seeing it in the Search Results page (CTR is the percentage of conversion from impressions to clicks).

- Bookings shows the number of bookings that met the campaign’s criteria (Conversion is the percentage of clicks on your property that resulted in bookings).
The conversion percentage shown can help you to understand the ROAS (return on advertising spending) in order to determine if this campaign setup is performing well for your property. If it is low, consider editing some of the campaign criteria to improve the value gained from Agoda Growth Express.

How can I improve my property’s Agoda Growth Express performance?
To ensure peak performance and continued success with Agoda Growth Express, we recommend that you take some time to review your property’s Content Score on YCS (YCS >> Performance >> Analytics >> Content Score) and to optimize your content accordingly.
In addition to the targeted marketing that Agoda Growth Express provides, customers will analyze your property’s offerings against your competitors to make their final decision. Factors that often influence customers’ choices are pricing, included perks, perceived quality, verified reviews, and cancellation policies. We encourage all partner properties to take these factors into consideration to further supplement the marketing success offered through Agoda Growth Express.

FAQs
Your property may benefit from enhanced performance and cost savings when bundled with Agoda Growth Program (AGP) or Agoda Intelligence (AI).
- Agoda Growth Program
Agoda Growth Program is a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing solution. As Agoda Growth Program has a more broad-based and general marketing reach, it can be strategically beneficial to stack Agoda Growth Express at specific times to enhance the benefits of both marketing solutions. However, long-term participation is recommended for Agoda Growth Program in order to maximize the gains in impressions, revenue, and room night growth.
Through Agoda Growth Program, you will be awarded with a Preferred Partner badge, visible on your property listing on both the Search Results page and Property Page. Joining Agoda Growth Program on the Premium plan will also activate a one-time award of Agoda Growth Express credits to use as your payment method when setting up an AGX campaign. - Agoda Intelligence
One of the primary benefits of our Agoda Intelligence program is a commission reduction. Activating Agoda Intelligence alongside Agoda Growth Express allows you to offset your incremental costs while still benefiting from targeted marketing solutions. Furthermore, Agoda Intelligence tools can provide valuable, data-driven insights into customer behavior and market trends, helping you to better optimize your AGX campaign targeting parameters for improved performance.
Agoda Intelligence also offers automated rate optimization and advanced rate management tools to strengthen your pricing strategy. By scanning your prices across multiple platforms and automatically adjusting your rates for optimal performance, Agoda Intelligence ensures that your best possible rates are always displayed to potential customers. With Agoda Growth Express providing increased visibility and Agoda Intelligence ensuring optimized rates, your impressions and engagement will lead to higher conversion rates and revenue. Note that Agoda Intelligence rate adjustments are fully transparent and can be disputed if deemed necessary.
Agoda Growth Express campaigns cannot be paused, but you can delete a campaign in order to deactivate it. If you would like to restart a specific AGX campaign, you will need to create a new campaign with the same settings.
If you have selected credits as your payment method, your campaign will be paused in the event that your credits run out and you have not turned on the option to switch to payout reduction. In this case, your campaign will re-activate automatically once you load more credits.
Agoda cannot manage Agoda Growth Express campaigns on your behalf. To ensure continued success throughout your campaign, we recommend monitoring the performance through YCS on a regular basis. Navigate to YCS >> Growth programs >> Campaigns, then click on the row that shows the AGX campaign for which you would like to view the generated bookings. On the campaign performance dashboard, find the Download campaign bookings text link button (below the performance data) and click to download the .csv file. This report will provide comprehensive data on the specific bookings that were generated as a result of this specific AGX campaign.
To add a custom name to your Agoda Growth Express campaign, navigate to YCS >> Growth programs >> Campaigns, then click on the row that shows the AGX campaign for which you would like to edit the name. On the campaign performance dashboard, find the Edit campaign text link button (below the performance data) and click to open the campaign details.
On the Edit campaign page, click the pencil icon that appears next to the AGX campaign name. Type in your custom name and click Done. If you do not need to edit any other campaign details, click Save changes.
If you have selected the payout reduction payment method, you may choose to finance your campaign with credits after the campaign has started. To do so, navigate to YCS >> Growth programs >> Campaigns, then click on the row that shows the AGX campaign for which you would like to change your payment method.
Scroll down on the page to the Advanced options section. If you have an available credits balance, the toggle for financing this campaign with credits will be activated. Click to turn on the option, noting that once credits run out, your campaign payment method will revert back to payout reduction.
Note that if you have AGX credits that you would like to use before switching to payout reduction, you can choose credits as your payment method and ensure that the option to switch to payout reduction when credits run out is turned on. In this case, your credits will be used in full before your payment method is switched over to payout reduction. More detail is provided in the section: How can I join Agoda Growth Express?
Yes, you can edit your Agoda Growth Express budget by adjusting your bid amount. To do so, navigate to YCS >> Growth programs >> Campaigns, then click on the row that shows the AGX campaign for which you would like to change your budget. On the campaign performance dashboard, find the Edit campaign text link button (below the performance data) and click to open the campaign details. In the Ranking Boost section, slide the blue dot along the grey line to adjust your bid percentage. Once you have selected your updated budget amount, click Save changes.
Yes, you can edit your targeting parameters after creating and starting an Agoda Growth Express campaign. To do so, navigate to YCS >> Growth programs >> Campaigns, then click on the row that shows the AGX campaign for which you would like to edit the targeting parameters. On the campaign performance dashboard, find the Edit campaign text link button (below the performance data) and click to open the campaign details. On the Edit campaign page, click the arrow next to Targeting to expand the section. Once you have made your desired changes, click Save changes.
