This article provides an overview of the Analytics page in YCS and outlines the data-driven insights you will find on each tab to better inform your strategic business decisions.
What is the Analytics Center?
The Analytics Center in YCS is your go-to tool for gaining insights into your property’s performance on Agoda. With clear, actionable data, it helps you make strategic decisions to drive growth. The Analytics Center enables partners to view and interact with real time data, which has been standardized to ensure that all direct supply data, including Priceline GPS, is presented in the viewable report.
Below is an overview of the key tabs and how they can help you optimize your business.
Within each of the tabs outlined below, you’ll also find the option to filter your data by timeline (last 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or 365 days), as well as the option to change what the data is being compared with (Competitor set, Previous year, or Hide comparison to focus only on your core data). The Analytics data is also available to download directly on the page, as either a CSV or PDF file.
Property performance
Track your key metrics over time on the Property performance tab, which provides a detailed look at your property’s metrics, including net room nights, net revenue, and average daily rate. You can compare these numbers against a selected competitor set to understand how your property is performing in the market. Use this information to identify trends and make strategic decisions to enhance your success.
Traveler insights
Understand your guests better with the information provided on the Traveler insights tab, where you’ll find valuable data about your guests’ booking habits. This section highlights key patterns such as lead time, length of stay, and traveler origin, helping you tailor promotions to specific markets. By understanding these behaviors, you can encourage early bookings, longer stays, and target the right guest segments to boost occupancy.
Revenue distribution
Identify your top revenue sources on the Revenue distribution tab, which shows you where your revenue is coming from, broken down by room types and rate plans. With this information, you can easily see which offerings are driving the most bookings and adjust your pricing or promotions to maximize revenue. The pie charts in this section make it easy to visualize how each category contributes to your overall earnings.
Content score
Optimize your property listing by utilizing the data from the Content score tab, which evaluates the quality of your property listing, giving you a score out of 100. This score reflects how complete and appealing your property’s content is, including photos, descriptions, and amenities. Improving your content score can help you attract more guests, making it a valuable tool for boosting your property’s visibility on Agoda.
Market demand
Align your business strategy with traveler trends in the Market demand tab, where you’ll get insights into search trends, traveler origins, length of stay, and booking lead times for your location. By understanding how travelers are searching and booking in your market, you can adjust your pricing and marketing strategies to capture more demand and increase occupancy.
