This article will explain how to calculate your property’s Base rates, as well as the factors that affect it.

What is Base rate?

Base rate refers to the amount hotels receive from each booking after subtracting Agoda’s compensation from the total amount paid by the guest, which is the Sell rate.

How am I charged for compensation?

Compensation is the amount paid by property to Agoda for Agoda’s services. The compensation amount is charged automatically by deducting the compensation amount from the total booking value before we make a payment to you.
