Early research revealed that cleanliness information could be important to travelers in the new normal. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have added several facilities on YCS which are considered beneficial to the property post-COVID-19.

To help ease guest concerns, we’re prominently showcasing the measures you take on your property page and introducing a “Health & Safety” filter to help bookers find you.

 

New Amenity List

Hygiene and cleanliness are becoming a concern for travelers now more than ever. Agoda has decided to add the list of facilities on a property and room level to better cater the guests’ needs when selecting their stays. Partners are encouraged to update their safety and hygiene measures by selecting the facilities applicable to their property to reassure guests that their health is not being taken for granted.

The new amenities include:

  • Daily disinfecting in all rooms
  • Daily disinfecting in common areas
  • Sterilizing equipment
  • Contactless check-in/out
  • Free face mask for guests
  • Hand sanitizers
  • Temperature checks
  • Physical distancing
  • Food delivery

 

Display on Property Page: Hygiene Plus Badge

 

 

Properties that fulfill the criteria of having the health and safety measures on the list will be awarded a Hygiene Plus badge on the Agoda.com website. The criteria are set by Agoda and may change depending on the demands of the health situation across the world.

 

How to add facilities on YCS?

Property-level facilities

Step 1. Login to YCS

Step 2. Go to Settings

Step 3. Click on Content

Step 4. Select Facilities on the left-hand side

Step 5. Go to Hotel Facilities tab

Step 6. Activate/Deactivate facility as needed

 

 

Room-level facilities

Step 1. Login to YCS

Step 2. Go to Settings

Step 3. Choose Room Setup

Step 4. Once the page is fully loaded, select the room to expand room setup menu

Step 5. Click Amenities section (the screen will show the active facilities under this room)

Step 6. Click on Add Facilities button

Step 7. Tick the facility you want to add > Select

Step 8. Save

 

 

Frequently Asked Questions 

I do not have access to the Content page on YCS. What should I do?

One of the users in your property should have access to this page. Should you have no access to YCS, please send the request to our Accommodation Services team via any registered email of the property to request for the access.
