This article offers a comprehensive overview of the earnings collection process, detailing the steps for requesting payouts, managing adjustments, and confirming payout dates.

Note: This page covers earnings collection for Bank Transfer, UPC on ePass, and eCard payments. For details on collecting earnings from UPC payments method, please refer to this article.

How do I collect earnings (payouts)?

To collect your earnings on your bookings, request a payout following these steps:

  1. Log in to YCS
  2. Go to Finance >> Current Transactions (Earnings)
  3. On the Earnings page, the Available to receive tab shows all bookings (or transactions) that are ready to collect (payable date is due).

  1. Click Get Payout at the top of the page to receive payouts for all eligible bookings. Alternatively, select the checkboxes next to the Booking IDs of specific bookings to request payouts for those, and then click Get Payout.

  2. In the Earnings payment confirmation popup, confirm your payout. The process varies for each payment method, so please refer to the instructions for each method below.
  • Bank Transfer:

  • Virtual Credit Card (UPC on ePass)
    For Virtual Credit Card (UPC on ePass), please charge the earnings payout within 24 hours. Otherwise, you will need to wait for another 72 hours before you can issue a new card. Click here for more details.

  • Agoda Payment Card (e-card)

After confirmation, your payout will be shown on the remittances page. You can click View details to see remittance information. Click here for more information on how to see past payouts.

What is an adjustment?

In the Adjustments section which is below Bookings with available earnings, you will see any bookings that require payment adjustments. Adjustments typically relate to overcharges, outstanding balances, or booking rejections.

Things to note:

  • All adjustments must be included when requesting a payout.
  • Ensure that when you request the payout, it shows as a positive amount. If the Total earnings amount is negative, please wait for more booking transactions before requesting payout.

Where can I find the booking payout date?

To check the booking payout date, click on the Pending payments tab. This tab shows you all bookings that are not yet available to receive (payable date is not yet due).

What payment methods are available for earnings payouts?

Payment method What do I need to do after I confirm payout?
Virtual Credit Card (UPC on Epass)  Once payout is confirmed, please charge the VCC card within 24 hours to secure your payout. Otherwise, you will need to wait for another 72 hours before you can issue a new card.
Bank Transfer (Telex Transfer) Once payout is confirmed and your bank account is approved, please wait 3-5 business days for the payout to be settled. Please ensure your bank account is approved to confirm the payout.
Agoda payment card (E-card) Once payout is confirmed, you may need to wait up 10-30 minutes before you are able to charge your Agoda payment card (e-Card) on your POS terminal. Please ensure that the exact payout amount is charged to the card as is shown on your remittances to prevent any discrepancies.
PayPal Once payout is confirmed and your Paypal account is validated, payment will be settled within 1 day after the transaction is submitted.

*Please note that this payment method is only available for Agoda Homes (NHA) properties.

FAQs

1. What should I do if the total earnings amount is negative?

If your total earnings amount appears negative, it means the current number of bookings doesn’t qualify for a payout. Please review your bookings and select additional ones, if available, until your earnings balance becomes positive. If there are no further bookings to select, we advise waiting until more bookings have completed check-out. Once these are processed, you’ll be able to claim payout.

2. Why do I have a booking with a negative amount?

There are 2 primary reasons you may encounter a booking with a negative amount:

  1. Property Collect Bookings: This situation arises when you’ve already collected the payment from the guests directly. Consequently, we need to deduct, or offset, the corresponding compensation for those bookings from your account.
  2. Cancellation Adjustments: If a booking offers free cancellation condition and you received the earnings in advance but the booking was later cancelled, we must reverse the previously credited earnings amount to reflect the cancellation.
3. How do I settle payments for amended or canceled bookings?

We will send you an amendment email (with “AMENDED” appearing in the subject line) which includes a confirmation voucher. The updated amount will be reflected on the Available to receive tab on the Earnings page. Proceed to request payout following the steps under How to get earnings (payouts)?

If the amendment was done after payout, the differences will be updated in the Adjustments section on the Available to receive tab.
