How do I use YCS?

YCS stands for Yield Control System. It is where you can manage your property content, rates, and availability on the Agoda website. In this article, we will introduce the tabs in YCS to help you use YCS more effectively.

What is YCS?

YCS is an acronym for Yield Control System. YCS is Agoda’s extranet through which you can manage your property, including rates and availability. More detail is provided in the following section about the various functions that are found in YCS.

YCS features

The features detailed below are shown in YCS as tabs in the top navigation bar. Learn more about the functions of each feature to help you utilize YCS more effectively.

Performance

Tab	Function
Dashboard	Provides an overview of your property’s performance data.
Analytics	View your property’s performance compared to your competitor set.
Opportunities	Find data-driven recommendations to improve your property’s performance.
Competitor set	Select a group of properties to be considered as direct competitors to your own property.
Guest Reviews	Read and reply to guest reviews.

Bookings

Tab	Function
Reservations	Search bookings, check booking details, and manage bookings.

Rates and Availability

Tab	Function
Calendar	Manage room rates and availability.
Availability Center	View all availability that you have allocated to Agoda through the YCS Calendar. Access inventory management and insights into traveler demand for your property’s city.
Promotions	View and create recommended promotions to attract customers. Some promotions include Early Bird, Long Stays, and Weekend Getaway.
Rate Channels	Rate channels, now called Targeted promotions, have moved to Promotions. You can set up and manage them just like before from their new home under the Promotions tab.
Rate Plans	Create and manage your rate plans, which detail the capacity, restrictions, and other information included in the room’s price shown to the customer.
Surcharge	Manage additional room rate charges.
Agoda Deals	Learn how to increase your marketing exposure by taking advantage of Agoda’s networks.
Agoda Intelligence	View the Agoda Intelligence (AI) calendar, production targets, and achievements. Note that this feature is only available if you have an active AI contract. Note that Agoda Intelligence will only be visible on your YCS menu if your property is participating in this program.

Property

Tab	Function
Photos	Upload and manage your property’s photos to drive exposure and promote bookings.
Rooms	Create room types and manage room information, such as occupancy and content.
Property details	Manage your property’s general settings and related content.
Property location	Update your property’s location by pinpointing it on the map or entering the latitude and longitude. Manage transfer information.
Content	Select your accommodation types and theme.
Room mapping	Map your rooms for an integrated display on Agoda.com.
Cancellation policies	Set up your cancellation policies.
Arrival guide	Provide detailed information for guests about your check-in and check-out times, procedures, and other related information.

Finance

The Finance features are available if your property utilizes one of the following payment methods: Telex Transfer; e-Card; UPC on ePass. More information about ePass is provided in this detailed article.

Tab	Function
Current Transactions	View all bookings that are available to be charged via UPC on ePass, bank transfer, or e-Card.
All Transactions	View all transactions and use filters to find transactions made by Agoda.
Remittances	View the details of all previously charged batches.
My Payment Accounts	Manage bank accounts that have been approved or are pending approval. Note that this feature is only available if you utilize the Bank Transfer payment method.
Advanced Guarantee Transactions	View all bookings made through the Agoda Growth Program (AGP). Note that this feature is only available if you have an AGP contract.
Contracted compensation	View your signed agreement which details Agoda’s contracted compensation.
Marketing Solutions Invoices	View and download payment invoices for Agoda Marketing Solutions programs.

Growth Program

Agoda Growth Express	Set up a boost campaign that targets travelers based on parameters such as travel period and origin.
Agoda Growth Program	Set up our most comprehensive growth program to maximize your revenue and increase visibility, both within and beyond Agoda.
Sponsored Listing	Purchase a guaranteed ranking in our top search results to increase your exposure and brand awareness.
Campaigns	View the performance of growth programs in which your property is participating.
Beds Network	Manage the distribution of your property’s offline rates to enhance your reach and grow your business.
Agoda Boost Campaigns	Set up special discounts without affecting your net rate. Offered as customer coupons, discounts are funded by your marketing budget, and in some cases, may also be co-funded by Agoda.

Contract	View your signed agreement which details Agoda’s contracted compensation.
